Crepes

Posted by ChroniclesCapersCanards on 11:09 PM
Last weekend I made crepes for my family. I used the recipe we used in class and they turned out great. At first I had trouble making them the right thickness, but after a while I got the hang of it. I didn't make them that big, so I ended up making alot. To assemble the crepes, first I spread the inside with nutella, which is my favorite part. Next I chopped up some strawberries and put them in the crepes. I then added blackberries, and rolled them all together. Overall, they were easy to make. I had some left over so I put them in the fridge so that my family could heat them up another day because they'd be just as good. Making crepes is really easy and they are delicious! Caroline C.

Easy and impressive!
The next time you are in the crepe making mood, make an extra large batch, stack and freeze them. It works beautifully. You may even want to try to incorporate a savory filling...seafood or chicken are common, or even simply a shaved ham and gruyere cheese (a pungent swiss). Yum.
